THE SPACE
This project is a reclamation of stillness—a meditation on care and imperfection, on what it means to slow down and be present in the act of becoming.  It is a love letter to the people and places that have held me and a vision of a world where Black women can rest, play, create, and be loved—without having to earn it.
My partner, my family, my chosen people—all of them are present here, their hands and voices woven into each piece–  showing a vision of Black life beyond struggle—one full of joy, connection, and belonging.
This is about embracing the messiness of now, honoring the beauty of process while also reflecting on where we’ve been. It is about looking back with tenderness, carrying forward the lessons of our roots, and using them to shape what comes next—with intention, with care, with grace. In a world that demands we always do more, this is an invitation to just be—and to imagine where we go from here.
